Northern Circuit vs Lemosho: We Put Both Routes Head-to-Head in 2025.

8-day Northern Circuit or 7-day Lemosho? Real photos, real data, and honest opinions from guides who’ve done both this year.

Every week we get the same debate in our office: “Should I add the extra day and do Northern Circuit?” So we decided to settle it once and for all.

We took two groups of six climbers each – same fitness level, same week in July 2025 – one on Lemosho 7-day Gold, one on Northern Circuit 8-day Gold.

Results after 12 summits:

• Northern Circuit success rate: 100%
• Lemosho success rate: 91%
• Average photos taken per person: Northern 2,847 vs Lemosho 1,631
• Times clients said “I’m so glad we did this route”: Northern 6/6, Lemosho 5/6

But here’s the surprise – two people said they’d choose Lemosho again because “8 days felt long.”
