Itinerary
Distance: 2.5 hrs drive | Habitat: Baobab-dotted savanna Afternoon game drive: Spot massive elephant herds (Tarangire has the highest concentration in Tanzania). Overnight: Mid-range Tarangire Sopa Lodge (en-suite rooms, pool, views of the park).
Distance: 1 hr | Habitat: Rift Valley acacia woodlands Morning drive + picnic: Flamingo flocks, giraffes, and rare tree-climbing lions. Evening birdwatching walk. Overnight: Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge (lakeside tents with verandas).
